Ilya Roubanis
PhD (EUI, Florence) | Political Analyst
SHORT BIO
I am a policy analyst and political consultant with experience in managing transnational teams to deliver on time, to standard, and on budget.
For fifteen years, I have worked as a shadow-writer for prime ministers, cabinet ministers, parliamentarians, corporate leaders and diplomats, developing bespoke messaging fitting to platform, target audience, role and mandate. I was fortunate to be engaged in iconic political campaigns across Europe, from the Caucasus to Brussels. My work is all about creative engagement and strategic messaging.
With strong academic credentials, I am experienced in policy documentation and development, with a background in governance, think tanks and academia.
Born in London to Greek parents, I have lived, worked and studied in Belgium, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, and the UK.
